Overview - What is the MS Teams integration?

Introduction

MS Teams integration enables Learning in the Flow of Work!
Lepaya’s Microsoft Teams App allows learners to engage with, and be notified about important content and events related to the programs they are enrolled in, all inside Microsoft teams.

Specifically, Lepaya App will notify them of new programs they are participating, classroom events and on-the-job practice/application of newly learned skills. Furthermore, through the embedded learning environment, learners can consume all relevant learning content without leaving Microsoft Teams - Learning in the Flow of Work!

Two parts of our integration

Our MS Teams integration consists of two parts:

  1. Notifications sent to the learner
  2. Learning in place - access learning content directly in MS Teams

Notifications

We automatically send messages directly to the learner over the timespan of a module, using our Lepaya Bot. This bot is notification only, which means that the learner can’t interact with it.

Which messages do we send?

  1. Kickoff of the module
  2. Pre-progress email
  3. Goal reminder (Action Plan)
  4. Goal reminder (MoT)
  5. Reminder to reflect
  6. Progress email (for modules without classroom)

Supported languages

We currently offer the following languages:

  • English
  • German
  • Dutch
  • French

The language depends on the wave language and English is the default language.

Learning in Place

Where do learners view content?

We have the option for our learners to view content right in the MS Teams app itself. And if the learner interacts with a message sent on MS Teams, they will be redirected to our app in MS Teams.

How do learners sign in?

Learners will be automatically logged in with Single Sign-On (SSO), meaning they don’t need to create a separate Lepaya account and don’t need to enter any email or password.

SSO needs a setup prior to usage, and a guide on how to setup SSO can be found here.
